Owls

Welcome to Owl Class, Myton Gardens Specialist Resource Provision (SRP)! We are lucky enough to be part of a brand new school with a purpose built classroom which includes a sensory room, a kitchen area and our own seperate outdoor space. We support children with an EHCP whose primary area of need is ‘Communication and Interaction’ and have a wonderful team of dedicated staff; Mrs Chapman (SRP Lead Teacher), Miss Allsopp (Teaching Assistant) and Miss Williams (Teaching Assistant). The children in Owl Class also have access to a Speech and Language Therapist, the Specialist Teaching Service, Educational Psychologists and Occupational Therapists, should these services be required to support them on their learning journey.

Owl Class provides a nurturing environment designed to enable learners to develop their communication and interaction skills through adult led interventions and purposeful play, with our curriculum designed to meet each child's individual needs. As a valued part of the whole school community, children in Owl Class are also encouraged and supported to spend time in the mainstream setting, interacting with peers and adults throughout the school and engaging with wider memorable experiences such as school trips.
